Primary tabs
Leo Kratzenstein earned a BA in British and American studies with a minor in German literature from the University of Konstanz. Born and raised in the very north of Germany, she made her way south via a layover in Hannover, where she worked in multiple divisions of the Staatstheater and spent the first year of her studies at Hannover University’s English department. After finishing her BA with a thesis on digital writing and migration in Adichie’s Americanah, she opted for a Master's in American studies at Leipzig University. In her research, she is passionate about minority and identity studies, queerness, and border crossings of various kinds, and she also harbors feelings for digitality and American literature. Leo is interested in pursuing a PhD, although she could also see herself working for NASA or returning to the circus.
