Filip Julian Miszuk

Primary tabs

Filip Julian Miszuk is a Polish-German student studying European Media Studies in his first semester at the University of Potsdam and the Fachhochschule Potsdam University of Applied Sciences. He started writing at the age of 15, first in his mother tongue of Polish, but soon transitioning into a more universal and versatile English. Filip creates poems to deconstruct, process, and deal with themes of trauma, grief, nihilism, and the disillusionment he felt with society, both historically and presently (among other themes). He hasn’t published anything yet, save for a sporadic streak of Instagram uploads, which consisted of works such as “Dwarves in The Hall of Mountain Kings,” voicing his feelings on the Ukraine war. With an upcoming poem collection (“Embers And Sparks”), a prose Fantasy duology (“Widowed Crowns of ill-Fated Kings”), and a novella (“Silence in Motion”), he wishes to send out a radical, provocative call for thinking and feeling.
