Max Vincent Hahnemann

After a failed attempt to study in Berlin, Max Hahnemann decided to move to a less distracting city—just to find himself in his hometown of Stuttgart. There he completed his undergraduate degree in literary studies, with a focus on American literature, and political science. With his passion for both disciplines in mind, Max eventually joined the MA program of American Studies Leipzig. Max is interested in notions of gender, sexuality, and race in popular culture and technology—and whatever seems exciting to him at the moment. In his free time, he collects cranky machines and explores the rich legacy of house and techno music.
