Ludwig Große

Born in California to parents from Saxony-Anhalt, Ludwig was raised in Berlin without any recollection of The Golden State. Being able to stay with family friends in California for a year abroad sparked their fascination with the US and led Ludwig to study American Studies in Leipzig. Another year abroad later, this time at Oklahoma State University with the help of the DAAD, they completed their BA in 2025 and committed to the MA. Ludwig interned at the German-American Institute Saxony in 2024 and has worked at DAIS as a program assistant since. Outside of university, Ludwig is a photographer for friends and family, enjoys making elaborate breakfasts, spends time outside on his bike or inside playing video games, and occasionally wins a game of Yatzy.
