Lina F. V. Brülhart

In 2025, Lina graduated from the University of Zurich with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology. She worked for several years at various immigration camps as an administrator and caretaker, an experience that sparked her interests in multinational contexts. Her research focuses on global power dynamics shaped by intrastate structures such as culture, practices, and believes, particularly from a feminist perspective. She is excited to further develop and deepen these interests during her MA at the American Studies Institute at Leipzig University, and potentially in pursuit of a PhD. In her spare time, Lina is a music enthusiast and enjoys going for the occasional run (though not if it is too cold).
