Maya Obermann

Maya Obermann is a German artist based in Wiesbaden, whose main interests are painting and photography. Her conceptually strong works are comprised of experimental and repetitive techniques such as paint layering as well as combining digital and analog practices. The two pieces featured in this year’s issue are part of a digital photography series of abandoned neighborhood spaces that capture remains of urban life within surrounding nature.
