Apart from a semester abroad at Rice University in Houston, TX, Vince has spent the majority of his academic career at American Studies Leipzig (ASL). He received his bachelor's degree from ASL in 2024 with a bachelor's thesis on the influence of American exceptionalism on the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. His research interests generally lay in 20th- and 21st-century US-American history and contemporary politics. To gain professional experience, Vince will be interning in the political section of the US embassy in Berlin starting in May 2025.
