Johanna Friedrichsen

After earning her bachelor’s degree in political science at Leipzig University, Johanna resisted the call to go back home to Northern Germany and instead decided to pursue a master’s degree at the American Studies Institute Leipzig. Her academic interests range from political education to US American policy discourses, fueled by working in different educational settings in both Germany and the US. When not mentally consumed by university work/weltschmerz, she can be found listening to Taylor Swift and attempting to solve crossword puzzles.
