Heather Carmody is one of the founding editors of aspeers. Her research interests focus on food movements and food cultures within a transatlantic context. Heather comes from New Jersey, and earned her BA in German Studies from Davidson College in North Carolina. She spent 2006-2007 on a Fulbright Grant in Mittweida, Germany and is now enrolled in the American Studies MA Program at the University of Leipzig, Germany. Her future plans include pursuing a PhD.
