Céline graduated with a bachelor's degree in American studies from Leipzig University in 2021. As an undergrad, she spent two semesters as an exchange student at Oklahoma State University where she developed an interest in disability studies. Her BA thesis focused on the representation of disability in animated movies. Now a student in the American studies MA program Céline hopes to further explore disability studies, while also focusing more on the construction of identity within American literature and culture.
In her free time, you can usually find her upside down perfecting her handstand, practicing yoga, reading, or lifting weights.
