Parker Billinghurst is, as of 2021, a Masters Student, studying American Studies at the University of Leipzig.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Parker obtained his bachelor degree from the University of Calgary, majoring in both History and International Relations. His research interests include transatlantic history, indigenous North American history and relations, and early-modern to modern North American history. He has also studied German for 8 years, beginning in high school.
In his free time, Parker has an unfortunate propensity to play sports which tend to involve knocking whatever he has learned in the classroom out of his head, namely ice-hockey and soccer. Parker also enjoyed a stint as radio-host at Calgary's campus radio station CSJW 90.9, as the culmination of several years of volunteering work. Back home in Canada, he also enjoys camping and hiking in the Rocky Mountains.
