George Rainov

George Rainov was born in 1995 in Halle, a delightful city in the former provinces of East Germany, where his family, some years before, had reached a dead end in their flight from unevenly developed, really-existing-socialist Bulgaria. Twenty-five years later, George takes pleasure, rather to the annoyance of the family, in attending SDS meetings, arguing post-capitalist futures, and helping to organize the labour movement. A reluctance to to get a real job has driven him to the American Studies MA program at Leipzig and into unwitting editorship of aspeers.
