About Tanja N. Aho
I started out with a BA in Finnish and American/British studies at the University of Greifswald and am now a graduate student of American studies and one of the second-year editors of aspeers. In my research I’ve been especially interested in minority literatures and representations of minorities, such as African American lesbians, white working-class men, and Dominican-American women. I've spent some time at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, as well as doing research both at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and Finlandia University in Hancock, Michigan. After graduating from the University of Leipzig I plan to pursue a PhD in American literature.
