I am from China. After getting my BA degree in English Language and Literature at the Foreign Languages Department of Harbin Engineering University, I chose to study at the University of Leipzig, where my favorite Chinese writer Yutang Lin got his doctoral degree in Linguistics. My research interests lie in cross-cultural communication and Asian American literature. Upon graduation, I plan to return to China and to work in the press and publication industry.
