About Ines Krug

Ines Krug received her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a minor in American Studies at University of Leipzig, Germany. She is continuing in the MA American Studies program, at Leipzig, while spending a semester at University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA. Her research interests go in very different directions, for example, she enjoys following political campaigning and the analysis of predominant narratives and stereotypes in the media. In addition, Ms. Krug is interested in the literature and culture side of American studies, especially African American literature. For her professional career, she combines her academic subject interests since she aspires to work in the field of public relations and plans to work and live in the United States for a few years.
