About Franziska Wenk

After receiving my BA in American studies in September 2009, I decided to stay in Leipzig to pursue my MA in American studies as well. Already during my BA studies I developed an interest in literary and cultural studies with a special focus on American Gothic and crime fiction. In addition, I am  interest in issues related to identity construction, something I want to further focus on during my MA. After my graduate studies I plan to either pursue a PhD in American literature or work in a publishing company.
