aspeers 10 (2017) Now Available!

The tenth issue of aspeers is now available in print and online.

This anniversary issue features four graduate contributions, on "‘Nature’ and the Justification of Frontier Violence in Hell on Wheels" (by Carlo Becker), "Psycho and the Postmodern Rise of Gender Queerness" (by David Klein Martins), "Civil War Alternate History as Social Criticism" (by Renee de Groot), and "Environment and Emotion in The Revenant" (by Marijana Mikić).

In addition, aspeers 10 (2017) contains a professorial voice in the form of an essay entitled "Little Maison on the Prairie" by Prof. Anne Koenen, an interview with the author and former Picador Professor Paul La Farge, reflections by former editors on the occasion of this anniversary, a greeting by Prof. Carmen Birkle, a brief foreword, and an academic introduction to the issue by the editors.
